Smoke and Fire

These two slides were created for ServiceMaster's video slide-sign, as previously posted about. They clean up smoke and fire damage, and much more.

My First Flash Video!

This past summer I decided to teach myself Adobe Flash, low and behold, it came to use as I now will be making small video/slides for a sign at ServiceMaster-Lewellen's in Kirksville. Above is my first official video I made and is up at this moment on the sign. After seeing it up I have already learned that certain things need to be made bigger; will do better on the rest. It's nothing too crazy or fancy, but I'm still learning and I'm happy with it. :)

Complete Family Medicine

I recently designed 2 brochures for Complete Family Medicine for their new Urgent Care and Optifast Weightloss program. The brochures are on the left and the mini-brochure/ wallet size cards are to the right. I have also made 2 newspaper ads thus far.

My BIG Final Class Project

The last of my school work was for my Senior Capstone class, in which I had to come up with a business. For this business I designed a logo, stationary set, advertisements, standards document, several packaging designs, annual report, signage, a design for a website, portfolio, and a display. And like any client, I more or less was trying to make my professor, as the client, happy. Most of the work is displayed, not all is shown but maybe at a later date.

Given that this is all made up, none of the information really exists (events, dates, etc.). I used only a few stock photos, the rest is my own photography (I own quite a bit of vintage-retro things which made it possible and easier).

Grandma's Old Photos

Below are 2 of the awesome/fun photos I got to "fix up" for my grandma. Check out the before and after(s):

75th Birthday "Card"

My grandma was in need of an idea for something to do with a bunch of old photos for a friend she grew up with 75th birthday. I first edited the images, fixing the faded colors, torn edges and creases. With so many photos I was unsure of what I could do and still be creative without being a basic collage, so I got crafty and creative by creating a card that can also stand as a picture frame. I failed at getting a photo showing the card standing up but captured the one below in the car on the way. The back opened up with an image of my grandma and her friend in a current photo and the simple "Happy Birthday!", the flap that formed the card also allowed the piece to stand on a table.
